New Year Resolution & Health.

Hello lovelies! It's been a while since I've written on here but I promise that will change next year! I'm probably the only that still thinks this but it feels like next year will be so long away from now but it's really in less than 24 hours! I honestly can not complain about 2013! It's been nothing but amazing to me! I've made amazing friends, met rad people, and got opportunities that I never thought could ever happen to me! So thank you for an amazing year guys!

And surprisingly I stuck by my 2013 new year resolution, I found out who I am, and I became positive, happy, and healthy. I know it's really hard to stick by your new year resolution but if you really want to do something then you really need to make it a priority. Every year I hear someone say 'my new year resolution is to get skinnier' but then they end up failing, why? Because they weren't being realistic or making it a priority. For instance this year one of my new year resolution is to become slimmer and toner, and I'll make it one of my priority after school and my blog of course! If your new year resolution were to lose 60 pounds then please please rethink that because that is extremely hard and you will need to have integrity.  I'm not saying it's impossible but it'll be hard as you'll have to always eat healthy and work out loads. Try setting a small goal first, try setting a goal for 10 pounds and keep adding on as you go through the goals! Please remember that you are welcome to eat chocolate, candy, junk food in general but in moderation! Also whatever you do please stay healthy! Lose weight the healthy way try eating smaller meals but have around 6 times a day morning, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and a healthy snack after dinner if you eat dinner late! You may think it's unhealthy to eat 6 times a day but it isn't! As long as you're giving your body healthy food then the tiny meals will actually speed up your metabolism and keep you energised!

If you feel like you're ready to give up with your work outs and your healthy eating then take a cheat day but don't take to many cheat days! Write little positive sticky notes like "you can do this" or say 'when I lose 20 pounds then I will by myself those shoes I've been loving'. Whenever I felt down I would google up my dream body which is Kylie Jenner and Bella Hadid's body and I would say hey I want to have that body and then I would write down little positive messages on sticky notes and post it around my room and it actually motivated me to work out and eat healthier!

                                               Here's my favourite filling smoothie:

Recipe:

  1. A small bowl full of kale or spinach.
  2. Soy milk pour until desired
  3. Non-fat/low-fat greek yogurt pour until desired
  4. 1/2 a lemon
  5. Some ice or a few frozen berries.
  6. Start with 1/4 of cayenne pepper and add more if you can take spice well.
I drink this smoothie all the time and it's very beneficial, it fills you up and quickens your metabolism and because of the kale or spinach it has even more benefits! Some times when I get bored of the kale and spinach I would just opt it out for frozen berries!

For work out I try to work out at least 4 times a week! I don't work out everyday but on days I don't I would still do a 7 minute work out! I recently found out about this app called the seven minute work out and it has 12 work outs that goes for 30 seconds and it works out your whole body! Here's what the app looks like:

and if you don't have an Iphone here is the 12 work outs for the app each is 30 seconds!
and on days that I do workout I try to run a mile or two, do the seven minute workout, and do additional work outs from my favourite youtuber Blogilates I usually do a inner thigh workout, abs, waist, or toning video workout! I also usually do 2 videos!
And last but not least here's my body motivation:

And please remember if you're aiming for the famous 'thigh gap' remember that 1. You must have the bone structure for it so meaning if you have wide hips then you will have it but if you don't have wide hips then no matter how skinny you are you wont achieve it. 2. It is not a sign of thin you are you don't need it to show that you're thin so don't be upset if you can't have one.

Good luck everyone and happy new years!

Write a good one."

Love you guys!
